WACO (January 23, 2014) A local business is using an FDA approved procedure to target stubborn fat. Waco Body Sculpt is the only business in the Central Texas area to offer coolsculpting.
The process involves a vacuum that holds tissue in place and then begins freezing the fatty tissues underneath the skin.
The cold temperatures then kill the fat cells over a three month period. The cells are removed naturally through the body’s lymphatic system.
Coolsculpting is being labeled as the noninvasive and more affordable alternative to liposuction.
Treatments start at $750.
The Food and Drug Administration approved the procedure in 2009.
